In the past I have been very critical of lyrics and music, especially other peoples' art. For years I've been picking shots at most of the music played on Christian radio. If not incorrect, many of the songs are downright shallow, with much heaping up of empty phrases and little to no use for one who is trying to faithfully follow the Lord Jesus in this postmodern, pluralistic world (and I haven't even touched on the lack of musical creativity).

Well, after years of having pointed out problems in someone else's music, I was encouraged to instead give a try myself at making an album, and see how my own lyrics and music are received, rather than sit back and merely criticize the current state of things. So, here is my debut album.

The hope is that if you are a Christian, you'll be built up and strengthened through listening, to the end purpose that you will think and feel more strongly about obeying Christ until His return. If you're not a Christian, the hope is that these songs will unashamedly present aspects and teachings of the "following-Jesus" faith by using text directly from the Bible, along with my own Scripture-based rhymes and prose, to the end purpose that you may be brought to faith in Christ alone for your salvation.
