"First wait through the blizzard."

So the chilling ice grew and the hard hail came
But the vine assured the twig all the same
The hail thawed
And the twig got tougher

The little twig to the big vine asked,
"Could I be a loner?"
The big vine to the little twig said,
"You'd soon be a goner

"'Cause if you're cut off from me, then you're cut off from the root
And apart from me you can bear no fruit
Finally, you'd be thrown into the fire
Is that your desire?"
